Air Filter Replacement & Whole-Home Filtration
Coachella Valley · MERV-rated filters, media cabinets, HEPA · Anthem Club includes scheduled filter swaps
What we handle
Routine Filter Replacement
1″, 2″, 4″, and 5″ filters. We stock the common sizes on every truck. Anthem Club members get filter changes scheduled automatically.
Media Cabinet Upgrade
Replace the cheap 1″ return-grille filter with a 5″ media cabinet at the air handler. 6–12 month replacement intervals, dramatically better filtration.
HEPA & UV-C Air Purification
True HEPA bypass systems and UV-C disinfection coils for allergy / asthma / immunocompromised households.
IAQ Diagnostics
Particulate counts, VOC measurement, static pressure, humidity. We diagnose before we sell — if a $20 filter swap solves it, that’s what we recommend.

MERV ratings — the honest version
The marketing pitch is “higher MERV = better.” The engineering truth is “higher MERV = more pressure drop = harder-working blower = potentially shorter system life if your equipment wasn’t sized for it.”
- MERV 8–11: default for most residential systems. Good dust capture, low pressure penalty.
- MERV 13: the IAQ sweet spot if your system can handle it. Static-pressure test first.
- MERV 16 / HEPA: medical-grade. Almost always needs a media cabinet, not a 1″ filter.
We measure your system’s static pressure before recommending an upgrade — not after, when the compressor is already strained.

Frequently asked questions
How often should I change my AC filter in the Coachella Valley?
1″ filters: every 30–45 days in summer, every 60 days in shoulder seasons. 4″/5″ media filters: every 6–12 months depending on load. Pets, recent construction, allergies, or open-window habits shorten all of those.
What’s the right MERV rating for a desert home?
MERV 8–11 for most homes; MERV 13 if anyone in the home has allergies or asthma AND your system was sized to handle the extra static pressure. We test before recommending an upgrade.
Will a higher-MERV filter actually wear out my AC?
It can — if your equipment wasn’t designed for the extra pressure drop. The right answer isn’t always “go higher”; sometimes it’s “upgrade to a 5″ media cabinet so the higher-MERV filter has the surface area it needs to breathe.”
Do you handle whole-home air purification, or just filters?
Both. We install bypass HEPA systems, UV-C disinfection coils, and PCO air cleaners. We also tell you when a $30 filter swap is the right call instead of a $1,500 air purifier.
